Calculator inputs
The calculators, forgotten-cost guidance, Budget Check, and compact embed run in your browser. We do not require an account or transmit the financial values you enter. The Quick estimate and Budget Check remain available while the current page is open. Saved Decision Workspace scenarios and Auto Offer X-Ray comparisons use session storage so they can survive tool changes and refreshes within the same browser tab; this session data ends with the tab session or when the relevant clear controls are used.
Household review links
A household review link stores the scenario, optional note, and response inside the URL fragment after the # symbol. That fragment is not included in ordinary requests to our server and is stripped from analytics, but anyone who receives the complete link can read its contents. Share it only with intended recipients and do not include names, account numbers, addresses, or other sensitive identifiers.
Hosting data
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and error information for security and reliability.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate page visits and product actions. It does not use advertising cookies or create profiles that track visitors across websites. Shared-offer URLs are stripped from analytics events, and custom events contain categorical product signals—not the financial values entered into the tools.
Advertising and lenders
We do not currently sell personal information, use behavioral advertising cookies, or share calculator inputs with lenders. If affiliate links or lender connections are introduced, this notice and the relevant on-page disclosures will be updated before those features launch.
Sensitive information
Do not enter Social Security numbers, bank credentials, account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers. The tools do not need them.
